How I Used AI to Turn Business Theory ($100M Money Models) Into Actionable Strategy
The gap between reading business books and actually implementing their strategies just got a lot smaller.
I just finished Alex Hormozi's "100 Million Dollar Money Models," and unlike most business books, it left me inspired! But also scratching my head. The frameworks were brilliant, the case studies compelling, but when it came to applying them to my own AI education business? That's where things got complicated.
I teach AI to people through several courses, but I was stuck on some fundamental questions: How should I package my three separate courses? What's the right pricing strategy? Should I bundle them together? How do I create compelling upsell paths?
These aren't trivial questions. Getting your offering structure wrong can kill an otherwise great product. But turning Hormozi's high-level concepts into specific strategies for my unique situation felt like trying to translate Shakespeare into modern marketing copy.
What if I just asked AI to help me apply the book's frameworks to my specific business?

The Experiment That Shocked Me
Instead of struggling to bridge theory and practice myself, I decided to train AI on the material from Hormozi's book, give it context about my business, and see what happened.
The results were genuinely shocking. With just three carefully crafted prompts, I got more actionable insights than I'd generated in weeks of manual strategizing.
Here's exactly what I did:
Prompt #1: Customer Needs Analysis & Upsell Strategy
I asked the AI to analyze my customer base and identify additional upsell opportunities beyond my existing three courses. I needed to understand not just what my customers wanted, but what they didn't even know they needed yet.
Here’s the prompt:
Using Alex Hormozi's hundred million dollar money models. I have three courses that I'm offering, but I need help with coming up with upsells. Here are two examples.
Example number one is offering a free storage service, and when people claim the free storage, you can upsell them:
1. A lock because that's what they need
2. A trolley to help move their items
3. A moving service to move all their storage from their home to the storage unit
4. Maybe even offer to upgrade their storage unit size
Example number 2 is car rental. You can upsell the customer to get insurance and also offer to fill in their tank for them when they come back, so they don't have to do it themselves at a slightly higher price. Also, offer to upgrade the size of the car. Based on these examples and my current course offerings, can you help me identify what my users' problems are and think of some offerings as upsells?
The results were really good:
Based on your three courses and Alex Hormozi's model, I can see some excellent upsell opportunities. Let me break down the user problems and natural upsells for each course:
Course 1: Generative AI for Professionals ($39)
User Problems After Taking Course:
"I learned prompts but need help implementing them in my specific industry"
"I want custom prompts for my exact role/company"
"I need ongoing support as AI tools evolve"
"I want to teach my team what I learned"
Natural Upsells:
Industry-Specific Prompt Pack ($97) - Tailored prompts for their specific field (marketing, legal, finance, etc.)
1-on-1 AI Implementation Session ($297) - You help them set up AI workflows for their actual job
Team Training License ($497) - Let them share the course + get materials to train their team
Monthly AI Updates & New Tools ($27/month) - Keep them current as new AI tools launch
Course 2: N8N Automation Challenge
User Problems After Taking Course:
"I built basic automations but need more complex workflows"
"I want pre-built templates for my specific use case"
"I need help troubleshooting when things break"
"I want to sell automation services to others"
Natural Upsells:
Done-For-You Automation Templates ($197) - 50+ pre-built automations they can just import
Advanced N8N Mastery Course ($497) - Complex workflows, APIs, database connections
Automation Troubleshooting Support ($97/month) - You fix their broken workflows
Become an Automation Consultant Kit ($997) - Templates, pricing guides, client materials to sell automation services
Course 3: Master Vibe Coding ($300)
User Problems After Taking Course:
"I built an app but need help marketing/launching it"
"I want someone to review my code before launch"
"I need help with app store optimization/deployment"
"I want to build more advanced features"
Natural Upsells:
App Launch Kit ($497) - Marketing templates, app store optimization, launch checklist
Code Review & Optimization ($297) - You review their code and optimize for performance
Advanced Features Masterclass ($697) - Payment integration, user authentication, advanced APIs
1-on-1 Launch Mentorship ($1,997) - Personal guidance to launch and market their first app
Cross-Course Upsells (The "Storage Unit Upgrade"):
The AI Entrepreneur Accelerator ($2,997) - For students who took multiple courses:
Monthly mastermind calls
Direct access to you
Advanced case studies
Client acquisition systems
Revenue optimization strategies
The key is that each upsell solves the next logical problem your students will face after completing your course - just like the storage customer will definitely need a lock, and the car renter might want insurance.
Which of these resonates most with what you're seeing from your current students?
Prompt #2: The Free Offering That Actually Works
Every business guru tells you to create a "lead magnet," but most are forgettable PDFs that nobody reads. I asked the AI to design a free offering that would genuinely attract my target audience and naturally lead them toward my paid courses.
Here’s the prompt:
Based on Alex Haramozy's 100 million money models, I don't currently have a free offering. Based on what I am offering right now, what would you recommend as a free offering?
And here’s the result:
ensive checklist/worksheet that helps professionals identify exactly where they're wasting time and which AI tools could save them the most hours.
Why it works:
Immediate value - they get actionable insights in 30 minutes
Creates urgency - they'll see exactly how much time they're losing daily
Natural bridge to your $39 AI course (they'll want to learn HOW to implement what the audit revealed)
Easy to deliver - just a PDF + maybe a 15-minute video walkthrough
The Hook: "Discover the 5-10 hours per week you're losing to tasks AI could do for you in minutes"
Option 2: "5 Copy-Paste AI Prompts That Save Professionals 2+ Hours Daily" (FREE)
What it is: A curated pack of 5 proven prompts for common professional tasks (email writing, meeting summaries, report creation, etc.)
Why it works:
Instant gratification - they can use these immediately
Demonstrates the power of good prompting (your specialty)
Makes them hungry for your full prompt library in the paid course
Positions you as the prompting expert
The Hook: "The exact prompts I use to finish my work 3x faster (and my clients pay $297/hour for these)"
Option 3: "The Ultimate AI Stack for Professionals" (FREE)
What it is: A simple guide showing exactly which AI tools to use for which tasks, with setup instructions.
Why it works:
Solves the "overwhelm" problem (too many AI tools, don't know which to use)
Gets them started immediately
Creates desire for deeper training on HOW to use these tools effectively
Appeals to all three of your course audiences
The Hook: "Stop wasting time with the wrong AI tools - here's exactly which ones to use for what"
My Recommendation: Go with Option 1
The AI Productivity Audit is the strongest because:
High perceived value - feels like a consultation
Creates urgency - they see their "time bleeding" in real numbers
Perfect bridge - naturally leads to wanting your $39 course to fix what they discovered
Broad appeal - works for anyone with a job
Easy to create - you probably already know the common time-wasters
Delivery Method:
Landing page with email capture
Immediately send the audit PDF
Follow up sequence over 5 days with tips/case studies
Day 6: Pitch your $39 AI course as the solution to implement what they discovered
This follows Hormozi's model perfectly: Give away something valuable for free that makes them realize they need your paid solution to actually implement it.
Prompt #3: The "Win Back Money Guarantee" Structure
This was the most intriguing framework from Hormozi's book. The idea is that customers can actually win back their full investment by participating actively in your program. But how do you structure something like that for AI education?
The AI helped me design a system that incentivizes engagement, creates accountability, and turns the guarantee into a marketing asset rather than a liability. It understood the psychology behind the concept and adapted it perfectly to my business model.
Here’s the prompt:
Using Alex Hormozi's $100M model, he has a "Win Back Your Money" offer where if you complete the course, you can get your money back. Can you help me come up with a "win your money back" offer for my courses?
Here’s the result:
Excellent idea! Alex Hormozi's "Win Back Your Money" offers are brilliant because they guarantee completion AND results. Here are my recommendations for each course:
Course 1: Generative AI for Professionals ($39)
"The 5-Hour Weekly Savings Guarantee"
The Offer: Complete all 7 days + submit proof you're saving 5+ hours per week using the techniques = Get your $39 back
Proof Required:
Screenshot of your completed daily assignments
Before/after time log showing specific tasks (1 week before course vs 1 week after)
Submit 3 AI outputs you created using course prompts (emails, reports, etc.)
Why It Works: $39 for potentially saving 260+ hours per year = incredible ROI, so giving the money back is easy
Course 2: N8N Automation Challenge
"The Working Automation Guarantee"
The Offer: Complete the 7-day challenge + build and demonstrate 3 working automations = Get your money back
Proof Required:
Submit video walkthrough of your 3 automations in action
Screenshots of your n8n workflows
Brief description of how much time each automation saves you weekly
Why It Works: If they build 3 automations, they're hooked and will buy your advanced courses anyway
Course 3: Master Vibe Coding ($300)
"The Live App Guarantee"
The Offer: Complete the 14-day course + launch a working app/website that gets at least 10 real users = Get your $300 back
Proof Required:
Link to your live app/website
Screenshot of analytics showing 10+ unique users
Brief video explaining what you built and lessons learned
Submit your code repository
Why It Works: Anyone who launches an app with 10 users is now an "entrepreneur" and perfect for your high-ticket upsells
Cross-Course Bundle Option:
"The Complete AI Transformation Challenge" ($500 for all 3 courses)
The Offer: Complete all 3 courses within 60 days + demonstrate:
5+ hours weekly time savings (AI course)
3 working automations (N8N course)
1 live app with 10+ users (Coding course)
= Get $200 back (keeping it profitable but rewarding)
Why This Approach Works (And Why I Was Shocked)
The reason this experiment was so successful wasn't just about AI's processing power—it was about the combination of:
Specific frameworks (from the book)
Detailed business context (my courses, audience, and challenges)
Targeted questions (instead of vague "help me with my business" requests)
Most people use AI like a search engine or a basic writing assistant. But when you feed it proven frameworks and specific business context, it becomes something much more powerful: a strategic consultant that can synthesize complex concepts and adapt them to your unique situation.
The AI wasn't just giving me generic business advice. It was taking Hormozi's tested frameworks and customizing them for AI education, understanding the unique challenges of teaching technical skills, and recognizing the specific needs of my audience.
The Bigger Picture: AI as Your Strategic Partner
This experience made me realize something important: we're not just in the age of AI tools—we're in the age of AI strategic partners. The key is knowing how to collaborate with them effectively.
Instead of reading business books and hoping you can figure out implementation on your own, you can now:
Feed AI the frameworks and concepts
Provide your specific business context
Ask targeted strategic questions
Get customized implementations
This doesn't replace human judgment or creativity. But it dramatically reduces the gap between learning about proven strategies and actually applying them to your business.
Your Turn: The Three-Prompt Framework
If you want to try this approach yourself, here's the framework:
Prompt 1: Customer Journey Analysis "Based on [book's frameworks], analyze my customer base [provide specific details] and identify upsell opportunities that align with their natural progression."
Prompt 2: Lead Generation Strategy "Using [specific concept from book], design a free offering for my audience [describe audience] that demonstrates value and leads naturally to my paid offerings [describe offerings]."
Prompt 3: Guarantee Structure "Help me adapt [specific framework] to create a guarantee system for my business [provide business details] that incentivizes engagement and becomes a marketing asset."
The key is being specific about both the frameworks you want to apply and the unique aspects of your business.
The Bottom Line
Business books are full of brilliant strategies that most people never implement because the gap between theory and practice is too wide. AI can bridge that gap—but only if you approach it strategically.
Instead of asking AI to solve your business problems from scratch, use it to adapt proven frameworks to your specific situation. The combination of tested concepts and personalized application is incredibly powerful.
And if you're curious about how this all turned out for my AI courses... well, that's a story for the next post.
